Bio
Rob Edenbo is a singer-songwriter who does country-folk music and is based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He writes songs from his own experiences in an honest, simple way that is easy to relate to. He explores fantasy, myths, and folklore, including murder ballads and songs about his passion for dragons. At his shows you will hear songs from deep traditions such as Appalachia, Scottish-Irish, and Bluegrass along side many familiar modern popular genres all in a folk sound with an acoustic guitar and harmonica. His music and voice are reminiscent of Steve Earle, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Chris Stapleton.
For his day-gig, Rob has been a nurse for more than 25 years. He loves dogs, camping and music festivals. When he is not performing, he can often be found out on the music scene supporting other local musicians. He has been playing guitar for over 15 years, a journey that began when he started hanging out with his kid's music teacher and messing around with fingerstyle guitar. He eventually began writing his own folk songs and fell in love with bluegrass jamming and playing open mics.
This year, Rob is working on releasing his first album. It will feature 11 original songs about girls, love, relationships, breakups, a murder ballad, and a couple of dragon songs. He documents his musical journey on his YouTube channel in a series he calls “The Songwriter's Journal.” This year, he launched music pages on both Instagram and Facebook and is starting to post specifically music related content.
